What to Expect at a Couple Hammam

Arrival and changing

Once the venue has accepted the request, arrive a little before the agreed time so there is time to identify the request and get ready without rushing. The team will direct you to the changing area and explain what happens next. Lockers are available for clothing and personal belongings, helping keep the private room uncluttered during the ritual.

You can use the provided towel or wear your swimwear. Towels, slippers, and bathrobes are supplied for the visit. If either guest has a question about attire, privacy, or the room arrangement, arrival is the right moment to ask before the warm and wet stages begin.

Warmth, steam, kese, and foam

The opening stages use sauna and steam to create an unhurried transition into the hammam ritual. Follow the team's directions and communicate if the temperature or timing feels uncomfortable. The goal is not to compete over how long you remain in the heat, but to move through the sequence at a pace that works for both guests.

Traditional kese exfoliation comes after the warm preparation, followed by a foam wash. These are distinct parts of the service: the kese stage focuses on exfoliation, while the foam stage is the cleansing portion of the ritual. Two therapists allow the couple to experience the sequence alongside one another.

Massage, finishing stages, and rest

Massage follows only when it is included in the selected package. The booking page explains the current inclusions, so check it before sending a request instead of assuming every hammam option has the same massage time. Longer experiences may also include additional spa stages that are not part of the classic ritual.

After the active stages, use the supplied robe and follow the team's direction to the lounge or finishing area.

Collect your belongings, make the venue payment, and allow a little breathing room before the next tightly timed activity. A calm finish helps the visit feel like one complete experience rather than a list of services.
